Are you interested in technology, creativity, and working with kids? Join us for an informal info session about starting a new Coding Pirates club — this time with English as the main language!
Coding Pirates is a nationwide non-profit organization offering after-school tech clubs for children and young people aged 7–17. Through fun and hands-on activities, kids explore programming, electronics, game development, digital design, and more. The clubs are run by passionate volunteers — often IT professionals, educators, and students — who want to make a difference by sharing their knowledge and curiosity.
This new club will be based at PROSA in central Copenhagen and aims to be an inclusive space especially welcoming to volunteers and children who are more comfortable in English. The format and spirit are the same as in all our other clubs, just with a different language.
At the info session, you’ll meet Anders Gammelgård-Larsen, organizational consultant at Coding Pirates, and Mirza Cirkinagic, union secretary at PROSA. They will introduce the organization, the idea behind the new club, and how you can get involved as a volunteer.
🍕 Enjoy free pizza and drinks, thanks to PROSA — come for the food, stay for the inspiration!
